PuTTY is an open source Telnet and SSH client for Windows and Unix systems. PuTTY provides 6 executables:
- putty: SSH and Telnet client
- pagent: SSH authentication agent
- puttygen: SSH key generator
- puttytel: Telnet only client
- pscp: command line SCP client
- psftp: command line SFTP client
- plink: command line interface to PuTTY back ends
Please note that in some countries encryption is outlawed. In that case you can use puttytel that is unrestricted by any cryptography laws.
