KompoZer formerly known as Nvu is an open source (licensed under the GPL2) WYSIWYG web page editing and a web files management software that can be compared to DreamWeaver. The main features of KompoZer are:
- WYSIWYG editor: you create a web page (including table and form) like you type a letter with your word processor
- right click on a element to change its properties
- live CSS editor: your changes are directly reported to the view of the page
- tab environment: edit several pages at the same time
